FaithWorks is open three mornings a week to receive applications for rent or utility assistance. Applicants must provide documentation of income and/or assistance and all monthly expenses. Intake Counselors meet with each client to detail the source of the emergency in which the client finds herself or himself. The applications are investigated by volunteers who seek to verify the client’s circumstances. The Investigator makes a recommendation to the Executive Director to assist or not within policy guidelines set by the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee meets monthly and reports to the Board of Directors made up of the member churches.
